Welcome to DAITS.org. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DAITS platform, including our website, certification services, decentralized AI marketplace, and DAO governance tools. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About DAITS

DAITS (Decentralized AI Trust & Security Board) is a decentralized compliance and governance protocol for artificial intelligence (AI). It provides AI audits, certifications, and a curated marketplace of trusted AI solutions, powered by the $DAITS token.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Not be subject to sanctions or legal restrictions in your jurisdiction
Accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy

For services requiring Know Your Customer (KYC) verification (e.g., DAO participation or staking), additional documentation may be required.

4. Services Offered

A decentralized AI solutions marketplace
Community-driven governance via a DAO

Use of these services may be subject to additional terms, smart contracts, or DAO governance proposals.

5. Decentralization & Disclaimer

DAITS is operated by a decentralized community. Services are facilitated through open-source protocols, smart contracts, and third-party contributors. By using DAITS:

You acknowledge that there is no central authority or entity controlling all aspects of the platform.
You assume full responsibility for interactions with decentralized services, including risks related to smart contracts, token volatility, and governance outcomes.

6. Token Usage & Wallet Responsibility

The $DAITS token is used for payments, staking, and governance.
You are solely responsible for securing your crypto wallet and private keys.
DAITS is not liable for any loss of funds due to user error, phishing, smart contract bugs, or third-party services.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the platform for unlawful or harmful purposes
Submit fraudulent or misleading AI models for certification
Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in DAITS protocols
Attempt to reverse-engineer smart contracts

Violation of these rules may result in revoked access, certification denial, or DAO sanctions (including slashing of staked tokens).

8. Intellectual Property

DAITS protocol code and smart contracts may be open-source under specific licenses (e.g., MIT, GPL). Other materials (brand assets, whitepapers, etc.) are protected and owned by DAITS contributors. Do not use DAITS brand elements without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

DAITS is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about uptime, security, certification accuracy, or results from using our services. You use DAITS at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DAITS and its contributors are not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages
Token value loss
Data corruption
Service unavailability

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted under the laws of a neutral jurisdiction compatible with DAOs (e.g., the Cayman Islands, Switzerland, or a US DAO-recognizing state like Wyoming), unless otherwise specified by the DAO.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes may be resolved via on-chain DAO governance, decentralized arbitration mechanisms, or mutually agreed mediation. By using DAITS, you agree to submit to DAO-based resolution for protocol disputes.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the website or official community channels. Continued use of DAITS indicates acceptance of revised terms.
